Ongwediva - A glimpse

Ongwediva is developing,very fast indeed. On our recent trip to the Town,we got a chance to interview Mr. Andreas Uutoni,Chief Coporate Communications of its Municipal Council. He updated us on what is new and happening. He also mentions a bit on the up coming annual Ongwediva Trade fair.

The once a settlement is booming lately with more attractions for visitors being put in place such as Shopping malls,recreational facilities and many more. Well this video was intended for anybody who has not seen the North before or have not been there in a very long time. Many times I come across most Namibians telling me they have never been to the North or perharps only up to Tsumeb.

Well my fellow Namibians,it's about time you get to start knowing. My best experience producing this piece was when i captured Aerial overlays of the town  from its Water dispenser towers, the White Tower on the right at the picture below. These towers are spread around Ongwediva and provides water to its residents.

 As a creative director I try to find means to create story telling in a more broader perspective,thats why using overlays of this kind is just brilliant i believe. The Clip is taken from our Checko Travel Section..which allows us to travel around the Beautiful country of Namibia and capture its  beauty as leaders put in place try harder to make it a better country for every of its Citizens.

 Thanks to the town council I was able to capture the beautiful footage as is visible in the Final Clip that we had uploaded on our CheckoTV Channel..Just take note about our clips.The clips are produced on a low budget format,therefore you will experience 50% quality sound. The picture is perfect when you are viewing from an updated computer and faster internet connection..
