 The lazpak Blog caught up with Smokey at Maj Beatz Studios,busy recording a new track with Kwaito Maestros Exit and Fishmann. At age 18 The Russian Born,is embarking on releasing an Album which will be available come end of March 2011.The Music Video according to him,is a collaborative work between Mad Boy Genius and Ogopa Butterfly and features Gazza and Faizel MC..Smokey moved to Namibia at age 9 which served him as home from there on. His passion for Hip Hop started at age 11 in the small town of Usakos.Where he lived for almost a year,and than relocated to Swakopmund with his parents.When Ruff and Tuff Records discovered his passions and talent for hip hop,he moved to Windhoek to pursue his dream.Rumours has it that he also plans to do collabos with Gal Level,Ees,Quido and many other aspiring local Hit makers.Watch out for his up coming Video Interview coming shortly.
