Maj Beatz sheds light on Hip Hop Music in Namibia & Africa

With Hip Hop getting a major boost in Namibia and Africa at large,the problem still persists.Our Artists lack originality.Many Local and African Hip Hop stars do not sing about whats happening in and around their communities.Hip Hop artists relate most of their songs and dress codes to the American Hip Hop Culture.Now the question is,are we losing faith in African Music?What are our producers doing to make sure that Africa is represented in their songs?.How can Hip Hop artists play a role within their given communities,what message are they sending out to their listeners and as such?Maj Beatz is a Music producer,Composer,Artist who has lived most of his Adult life in the US.

The Malawian producer moved to Namibia not long ago,to work on Music Projects with Ogopa Butterfly,but later went solo. Reasons for this are yet unknown. He has produced major hits like Ohole by Gal Level,and produced for new artists like Fismann and many others.In this Video Maj Beats emphasises more on producing Original work that can represent and educate and give a true overview of what is happening in and around Africa.
