Spotlight on Vanity

Vanity consists of two hardworking Namibian Born Candy and Sisty. With paramount passions in the Shambo and Kwasa Kwasa music genres. The pair have been hardworking on their much anticipated Studio Project due out end October. The Album according to them will be classified as a "collection" rather than Album.Asked why?,We call it a "collection" due to the mixture of sounds that can be found in the songs. The Two Shaambo songbirds have been around the industry for quite sometime now too.

Having released  a Video entitled "Meme Meme" in 2008 which ended up on TV Sets. The video had a low rating though, compared to their new ones,"Dance" and "Party" The Dance Video below was shot, directed, and edited by Peya, and is currently enjoying random airplay on local television sets.
The Shaambo music Genre in Namibia is still at its growing stages, with more artists choosing other genres that are more competitive.Vanity how ever maintained the Spotlight status as they were and still are a few left that embrace the Genre.Vanity though freshens it up and spices it with modern beats and funky kwasa Kwasa instrumentals, and dance moves coupled with a modern sexy fashion wear.Their music also educates, and also reflects back on their live, and since they know that not every song will appeal to everyone.,it will definitely appeal and relate to someone out there somewhere.

"We believe that our quest is important particularly with regards to the ever rising HIV/AIDS pandemic, here in Africa". " We believe that when a young woman develops confidence in themselves, in their femininity, sexuality, bodies,it puts them in better positions to make better choices" the two artists state.
Candy and Sisty worked with renowned producers Godfrey,  Shekeni, Tulonga, History, Ma Beats, Nelly, Mushe,to form what will  be a new modernized and elevated Shaambo Offering.
Despite performing all over Namibia the pair had an opportunity to perform in Cape Town.
" we are enjoying the travelling, entertaining, recording and meeting our fans in the different towns that we go to" "The fans just love our dance skills, every time we get on stage".
