Sunny Boy Disses on Track...

On this song Sunny Boy and his team lashes out to the GMP fraternity, the track called Mr. She-mi and features the likes of Chipolopolo and was first performed at the Sanlam NBC Music Awards early last December and caused much hype surrounding the lyrical content.There must be very good reasons why our local artists are turning to each other lyrically especially the ones in the game for longer.Music has become the only way in Namibia for artists to prove a better rival of the other.

Sunny has been seen boldly performing the track and most of the times without any T-Shirt on lately.I witnessed that at Mr. Jericho's CD launch and at the World Music day performances at the plazza not too long ago.It was a pure indication that the dude is seriously sending a message with a passion.Its not the first time a track like this was released or leaked but a number of local Kwaito heads have been at lockerheads lyrically especially in their indigenous

languages. I hope this "minor" beefs stay just as minor and not aim to cause an obstruction to the already growing Industry which has so many untamed talent just waiting to be heard.Sunny has enjoyed much hype last year after releasing his third studio album,and the much Jukeboxed hit "Heat it up" which saw him walk away with song of the  year at the annual NBC Awards.lets hope the dude is cooking up a storm.with the year already in its 7th month,we hope to hear a better,bigger "Sunny"
