The Year that was
What can i say,this year has passed us with no doubt more work and more success,that's now for the workaholics i must say,but to many not all resolutions where fully accomplished.
The Local Namibian Music industry boomed this year more than ever,seeing new HIp Hop cats taking over the charts and so forth,more New artists emerging CD Launches thus creating a more respectable Industry,But than again not a lot of artist's got much needed exposure in the outside world but hopefully a lot of them will be more stronger to take their dreams to another level Next year.
As a Videographer and Director of Music Videos,I have worked hand in hand with a whole bunch of local artist's in creating dramatic Music Videos that were aired on our local Television sets,to me that is an astounding achievement you know because i play a bigger role in making sure our local artists get the benefit of the doubt.But i hope to grow more next year and make sure i do my best to reach another level,one way forward only....
It's sad to say we've also lost two of the most talented Musician (Roger) and Producer (Eclipse) a few months ago,the loss of these two left a lotta fans and admirers with unanswered questions as to what happened at the time of the accident,but that's not the case here cause i believe God has a reason why he takes his angels back to heaven,may their souls rest in peace...
I believe the Namibian local Artists should start working together now to make this industry more fair and more entertaining you know,we Namibians are so grouped like we dont understand each other,let's not be too greedy and try to collaborate to make it of a more success you know,that's the only way out of this mess...
To everyone that didnt make it to the next level well better luck and just fight harder for your dreams,cause 2010 is on like a weather Channel.
