True Journalism?

Eish i always had trust in the media freedom within Namibia but seeing from recent reportings, nothing is actually reported according to the true facts, brought onto the editors desk especially when the one that commits the offences is more of a so Called "Proffessional public Figure"..at one event i was there and witnessed what actually went down, but the way it was reported in one of the daily's,words got twisted and the real facts hidden.
I relised my self that most of our reporters don't do it according to how it happened.if iam famous and commited something unruly in public, and know someone from the inside, best believe the offender is likely to escape negative criticism...Which to me is fucked up...a lot of stories go out without true facts and just die like that..
Our reporters should actually report according to how stories went out, without any fear of prejudice or favour.the true culprits should be brought to justice so that incidents are addressed in a fair and just manner..that way they are than practising a true understanding of Journalism...and oh again favouritism doesnt do for me,if you know you are a public figure and want to be on the lighter side of things,be legit and examplary to your people...that's one way forward...but if you are a hater of progress..than that's two steps back..Lazpak
