It's official the 10 Miss NBC 2010 finalists have been unveiled.At what seemed to be just but a rumor on social sites like Facebook.It's official,
Miss NBC will take place on the 24th September 2010 at The Roman Catholic Parish Hall in Windhoek.The event is the brain child of the Marketing & Corporate Communications Division of the Broadcaster. Ms Ilke Platt,Corporate Communications Officer states that "It is our divisions’ responsibility not only to attend to the public's needs but also incorporate them by making them feel that the NBC as a public broadcaster is theirs too".

The NBC received A total of 158 entries and from that 22 where selected on the 6th August 2010 by the Miss NBC Committee.four different criterias were used in the selection process.Flexibility,Achievements,Presentaion,Photogenic

The Top 22 were than taken for a photoshoot on 10th August 2010 at Studio 77,were the 10 Finalists were to be selected. Tony Figuiera (renowned Photographer) Odile Gertse (Ms. Namibia 2010) and Toucy Tjiombo (Ms. NBC Committee Member) headed the selection process.Personality,Articulation,Presentation,Photogenic were the criterias used.
Miss NBC will hopefully air live on National Television."We always want a great turn up of the public at the event, so they will have to watch the press for details as the event approaches".Platt emphasises.
